Add to WishlistA classic trilogy diamond engagement ring dating to the 1940s. This style of ring is as elegant today as it has been for the last century. Three sparkling round brilliant cut diamonds are set in white gold claw prongs. The centre diamond is the largest with a slightly smaller diamond on each side. A narrow yellow gold band tapers up to meet the diamonds. The diamonds are set a bit higher than was typical in Art Deco rings which allows for a wedding ring to sit flush with this engagement ring. Circa 1940s, British in origin.
Diamonds: 3, round brilliants. Centre estimated in setting as 0.28 carat, 4.2 mm, K / L colour, VS1 clarity. Sides are approx 0.12 carats each, 3.2 mm, I / J colour, VS2 & SI1 clarity. Total carat weight estimated as setting permits: 0.52.
Hallmarked 18ct and tested as 18 carat gold. The band is 18 carat yellow gold and the claws are 18 carat white gold.
