Vintage lab created blue spinel cocktail ring. This is such a great retro ring! The rectangular shape light blue synthetic spinel is set in a 14k gold mounting. The gemstone is secured with wide corner prongs. Flanking the spinel are wide decorative arched ribbon designs atop angled shoulders. The shank is a pipe cut, flat and polished. Circa mid 20th century.

Spinel: lab created, light sky blue, rectangular in shape measuring approx 9.9 mm by 8.1 mm and calculated as 2.5 carats within the limits of the mounting. Minor facet wear in keeping with age and use.

Stamped 14k, the gold is rose in colour.

Size: UK - L.5; US - 6; EU - 16,5. This ring can be sized between J.5 / 5 / 15,6 and P.5 / 8 / 18,2. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 10.7 mm by 9 mm on top by 6.35 mm deep. 1.9 mm wide band.
