This incredible sterling silver feather bracelet is quite the statement piece! Made in Mexico and crafted from sterling silver it's large and bold, perfect for summer. The curled matching feathers start at the back where are they connected by a hinge. At the side of the wrist the feathers curve in opposite directions, one toward the hand and the other up the arm. Circa mid 20th century, 1950s - 1970s, Mexican in origin.
This bracelet is in good condition. The hinge expands slightly to allow this bracelet to be put on and taken off. The interior shows some dents, mostly around where the markings have been stamped though some also appear to be where someone may have attempted to adjust it's size. We have rerounded this bracelet and it looks amazing when worn!
The interior is marked Hencho En Mexico, 925 Sterling Mexico with what may be a maker's mark inside a circle. Professionally tested and assessed as sterling silver.
Interior is approx 15.8 cm / 6.2 inches not expanded and expands to approx 18.5 cm / 7.25 inches when fully expanded. Model's wrist measures 16.5 cm / 6.5 inches at wrist bone and the fit is about right. Measures approx 94 mm / 3.7 inches wide on top and 26 mm / 1 inch wide at hinge.
