Sleek vintage 9 carat yellow gold diamond buckle ring made by Slade & Wolfe. This beauty is pretty, very shiny with a sparkly single diamond set into a star cut design. The band is wide, making the buckle stand out, and gently tapering toward the back. Slade & Wolfe was a British jeweller in business during the mid to late 20th century. This particular example dates to 1970s - 1990s based on the hallmark.
Diamond: approx 1.7 mm and estimated as 0.02 carats, near colourless and eye clean within the limits of the mounting.
Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in London. There is a maker's mark for Slade & Wolfe.
Size: UK - Q.5; US - 8.5; EU - 18,5. This ring can be sized down to M / 6.25 / 16,6 and U.5 / 10.25 / 20.
Measures approx 7.5 mm wide by 3.1 mm deep at the buckle, tapering to 5.4 mm wide at the back.
