Gold and platinum stud earrings designed as a spike They have been converted from a Victorian piece of jewellery. These earrings are long and lean with a narrower top, widening toward the bottom before coming to a point at their ends. I love the spiked design, it's small and just a bit different. Circa late 19th century tapered bars, we've made the posts with matching recycled gold from broken Victorian jewellery, and added brand new backs.

Stamped 585, for 14 carat gold, on the back of one of the bars. Both scroll backs stamped 375 for 9 carat gold, these backs are new and have been provided by us. The white tops of the bars test as platinum.

Measure approx 20.5 mm / 0.80 inches long by 1.9 mm wide at widest point.

Weigh 1.2 grams total, approx 0.6 grams per earring.
