Vintage three headed snake ring crafted in 14 carat gold. This rose gold ring is designed as four intertwined bands with are modelled to look like three snakes around the finger. The heads of the serpents are interlocked together with small spheres of gold in front of each snake, accenting the top. This ring looks like a puzzle style ring though the bands do not come apart.

Snakes have a meaning in every culture with one of the more common ones being a symbol of death and rebirth. They've long been popular for jewels for engagement, wedding, mourning and everything in between. We've not be able to get an accurate date on this ring, but our best guess late 19th century to early 20th century as snake themes, golden spheres, and puzzle style rings were in vogue then.

Hallmarked on the back with an unknown to us mark, please see photos. Tested as 14 carat gold.

Size: UK - Q; US - 8 1/4; EU - 18.3. We would not recommend resizing this ring due to the multiple bands.

Measures 7.9 mm wide at front tapering to 3.75 mm wide at the back. Stands 3.7 mm tall off the finger at top.

Weighs 4.50 grams.
