Art Deco sapphire and diamond engagement ring. A lovely cornflower blue French cut sapphire is set into a platinum top. The sapphire is lined in a row of milgrain beading. Flanking the sapphire are small single cut / eight cut diamonds outlined in milgrain beading. To the top and bottom of the sapphire are small engraved beaded designs. The engraving is delicate and in very good condition. This ring dates to the 1920s and is British in origin.

Sapphire: square shape, French cut, cornflower blue, approx 2.7 mm.

Diamonds: 2, single cut, approx 0.03 carats total.

Stamped 18ct PLAT. This ring is tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.

Size: UK - G 1/2; US - 3 3/4; EU - 14.6. This ring cannot be made any smaller. It can be sized several sizes larger. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 7.33 mm by 12.30 on top and sits 2.95 mm tall off the finger.
