Art Deco sapphire and diamond engagement ring. A lovely cornflower blue square cut sapphire is set into a platinum top. The sapphire is lined in a row of milgrain beading. Flanking the sapphire are rose cut diamonds in a beaded, engraved design. The engraving is delicate and in very good condition. This ring dates to the 1920s and is British in origin.

Sapphire: square shape, step cut, cornflower blue, approx 2.8 mm.

Diamonds: 2, roughly cut.

Stamped 18ct PLAT. This ring is tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.

Size: UK - K; US - 5 1/4; EU - 15.9. This ring cannot be made any smaller. It can be sized several sizes larger. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 5.95 mm wide and sits 2.7 mm tall off the finger.
