Lovely late Art Deco sapphire and diamond engagement ring. I just love the shape of this ring! The top is so elegant, set length ways across the finger. A medium blue colour round cut sapphire is bead set in platinum. To either side of the sapphire is a single cut diamond. The entire top of this setting features a beaded and miligrain pattern. The sapphire is set in a four pointed star style shape. This ring dates to around the 1930s - 1940s and is British in origin.

Sapphire: round cut, medium blue, approx 0.20 carats, 3.5 mm as calculated in setting.

Diamonds: 2, single cut, approx 0.03 carats total weight.

Hallmarked 9 ct & Plat. The gemstones are set in platinum and the rest of this ring is 9 carat gold.
