Lovely vintage ruby eternity ring set in platinum. Thirty-four carre cut rubies are channel set in platinum. The rubies are a deep red in colour and create a continuous line around the finger. The edges of the channel setting are even with the top of the rubies, helping to protect them. This ring has plain flat sides and can easily be stacked with other rings or bands. Dates to the 1940s to 1950s.

Rubies: 34, square shaped, step cut / carre cut. The rubies vary slightly in size but on average are approx 1.5 mm wide and 1.3 mm tall. Calculated as setting permits as approx 1.2 carats total weight. Under magnification the rubies show some slight wear commensurate with age.

Not hallmarked, tested as platinum.

Size: UK - M; US - 6 1/4; EU - 16 3/4. This ring cannot be resized.

Measures 2.44 mm wide and rises approx 1.54 mm high off the finger.

Weighs 1.95 grams.
