Vintage ruby and diamond bypass ring dating to the mid 20th century. Set in the centre of this ring is an oval cut ruby in a pleasing deep red colour. Flanking the ruby are diamonds, each set in simple claw setting. The three gemstones are set at an angle, sloping up the finger, with diamond set shoulders curving around the ruby and diamonds. The shoulders are tapered in design and lined with a milgrain beaded edge. Circa mid 1930s - 1950s, British in origin.

Ruby: deep purplish red colour, oval cut. Measures approx 5.2 mm by 4.3 mm and calculated in setting as 0.55 carats.

Diamonds: 8 total. 2 round brilliant, approx 0.20 carats total weight, K / L colour, SI clarity. 6 eight cut, approx 0.04 carats together.

Marked 18ct for 18 carat gold and tested as such.

Size: UK - Q 1/2; US - 8 1/2; EU - 18 1/2. This ring can be sized down to M / 6.25 and up to S / 9.25. Sizing is available for an additional fee.

Measures about 7.45 mm wide and rises 4.35 mm tall off the finger.
