Striking Art Deco ruby and diamond engagement ring set in 18 carat gold and platinum. The centre diamond is framed by four square cut rubies. Set between each of the rubies is a single diamond. The diamonds are pave set and the rubies are bezel / rub over set into the platinum top. The rubies and diamonds together create a circular shape which is set low to the finger. Circa 1920s, British in origin.

Rubies: 4, square cut, approx 2 mm.

Diamonds: 5, approx 0.08 carats total weight.
