Vintage diamond engagement ring and wedding band set. The centre round brilliant cut diamond is housed in a square ruffled edge setting. Tapered baguette are claw set within the band, accenting the shoulders. The centre stone is lovely and sparkly! Due to the way the setting is crafted it looks larger than it's size. For the wedding band, the centre diamond is long to match the length of the centre diamond. Matching diamonds slope down the shoulders so that this wedding set is perfectly matched and wonderful. The bands of these rings are rounded and simple in profile. Circa 1940s - 1950s.

The wedding ring has a little hinged catch under the centre baguette diamond. A small tool, such as a paper clip, can be used to push this out. Once open, place the lower cut out arch in the side of the engagement at an angle on top of the wedding ring. Twist the engagement ring so that they are lined up. The catch holds the rings in place and lined up. The rings can, of course, be worn without it, but this keeps the rings lined together. When locked into place these rings must be untwisted to get them apart, pulling them apart may break the catch.

Diamonds: 6 total. 1 round brilliant cut, 1 straight cut baguette, and 4 tapered cut baguette diamonds.
Centre is approx 4.95 mm and calculated in setting as 0.45 carats, G / H colour, SI1 clarity. 5 baguette cut diamonds total approx 0.25 carats together. The diamonds are calculated within the limits of the mounting as 0.70 total, G / H colour, VS / SI clarity in this wedding set.

Both rings stamped 18K. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat white gold.

Size: UK - H.5; US - 4.25; EU - 15. These rings can be resized up to K / 5.25 / 15,8. Resizing available for an additional fee.

Engagement ring measures approx 6.2 mm wide by 6.7 mm deep at diamond. 1.4 mm band.
Wedding ring measures approx 2.75 mm wide by 3.1 mm deep at top. 1.7 mm at back centre.
