This is a fantastic Art Deco diamond wedding ring! In true late Art Deco to Mid Century style, it has some serious flare. Fifteen old single cut diamonds are set in channels of platinum across the top. The diamonds curve around the finger, ending where the fingers touch together. Where the diamonds give way to plain platinum the band flares slightly and then tapers dramatically to to the narrower back of the shank.

The top of this ring is set higher than some rings, making it a great companion of all those other very high set late Art Deco to Mid Century rings out there...as well as modern rings - high set rings are everywhere at the moment! Because of the height it may not suit a European made Art Deco ring where we liked things a bit lower to the finger. The sides are flat with the entire ring having very soft curves to it which looks lovely on.

The inside of this ring retains the original owner's initials and date and reads, "F.M.A. to ?.F.G. 2.11.48"

Diamonds: 15, old single cut. Approx 0.15 carats total weight, G - H colour, VS2 - SI1 clarity.

Hallmarked and tested as platinum.

Size: UK - O; US - 7 1/4; EU - 55. Because of how far the diamonds are around the band it's recommended this ring only be sized 1 UK / 0.5 US sizes larger or smaller.

Measures 3.1 mm wide and rises 2.2 mm tall.
Weighs 3.65 grams. This ring has a substantial weight to it.
