Wonderful diamond vintage engagement ring and wedding band set! I love when a set has stayed together through the years as this one has, it's just so special. The central round brilliant diamond shines and sparkles from within it's triple claw platinum setting. The claws are beautifully shaped, flaring a bit in fishtail design. The diamond is high in colour and clear. The angled shoulders are channel set in an alternating design of round brilliant cut diamonds and straight cut baguette diamonds. A matching wedding ring has the same alternating design. Popular during the 1940s, during and after World War II this design mimics Morse Code which was a part of people's lives during this era. Circa 1940s.

In very good condition. The back side of the engagement ring has thinned a bit from use and wear, and there's very slight wear to one side of the engagement ring, a minor marking showing which side their original owner would have worn the band on. It's rarer to find a set together and these are an absolutely perfect match!

Diamonds: 11 diamonds, 1.10 total carat weight. Centre round brilliant cut diamond of 5.25 mm - 5.30 mm x 2.90 mm and calculated as 0.50 carats, G / H colour, VS clarity within the limits of the setting. Other diamonds are round brilliant and baguette cuts totalling 0.60 carats, G / H colour, VS clarity within the limits of the mounting.

Both rings stamped 10% IRID PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as platinum throughout.

Size: UK - L; US - 5.75; EU - 16,3. These rings can be sized between J.25 / 5 / 15,6 and M.5 / 6.5 / 16,9. Sizing available for an additional fee.
