A half hoop ring set with nine diamond in platinum. Nine single cut diamonds are channel set forming a half circle around the finger. The diamonds are incredibly white and sparkle like nobody's business! To the top and bottom edges is a delicate milgrain beaded edge. At either end of the diamond row is a small engraved triangle shape which is outlined in milgrain with the point forming a knife edge band. Circa 1920s - mid 1930s.
In great condition with only very light wear as a testament to it's age.
Diamonds: 9, single cut, approx 2.2 mm to 2.3 mm each to total 0.40 carats, G / H colour, VS clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting.
Stamped 10% IRID PLA. Professionally tested and assessed as platinum. There is also a maker's mark which we've been unable to identify.
Size: UK - O; US - 7.25; EU - 17,5. The diamonds are set too far around to size down, this ring can be sized up to P.5 / 8 / 18,1.
Measures approx 3.75 mm wide by 2 mm deep at diamond set top tapering to 1.6 mm at back centre.
Weighs 3.7 grams.
