Vintage baguette cut three stone diamond platinum wedding ring. This ring is an elegant design with a straight baguette bar set in the centre with a tapered baguette diamond on either side. The design is a classic, popular since the Art Deco era. Each of the diamonds is bar set, a style which shows them off without interruption of prongs or claws. The diamonds are held aloft on the finger with open metal work showing off under the three diamonds. The shank tapers narrowing in the back. Circa 1930s.
Diamonds: 3 baguettes. 1 straight baguette measures approx 4.5 mm wide and the 2 tapered baguettes measure approx 4.4 mm wide. Total carat weight, estimated as setting permits is 0.60 carats, G / H colour, VS clarity.
Marked as 10% Irid Plat. This ring is the common platinum alloy of 90% Platinum with 10% Iridium, an alloy still in use today.
Size: UK - K 1/2; US - 5 1/2; EU - 16.1. This ring can be sized between J / 4.8 and N / 6.75. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures 3 mm wide with diamonds 14.95 mm across the finger and rises 3.6 mm tall off the finger.
Weighs 2.95 grams.
