Vintage cultured pearl and rose cut diamond ring set in yellow gold. This ring is stunning on the finger! The contrast of the soft glow of the pearl with the glittering diamonds and bright yellow gold is just beautiful. The cultured pearl sits in the centre above the diamonds which are set down into 18 carat gold around the edges. The band is squared in profile with a flat top and tapers toward the gemstone set top. Circa early 20th century.

Diamonds: 12, rose cut, approx 1.3 mm each.

Pearl: cultured, approx 4.8 mm wide.

This ring is likely a conversion based on how it's made. The top piece may have been another item of jewellery, such as an earring or tie pin, which has been converted into a ring at a later date.

Marked 18ct for 18 carat gold and tested as such throughout.
