Wonderful Art Deco cultured pearl drop earrings. These earrings are crafted in sterling silver which has been chrome plated so that it doesn't tarnish. At the top of the earrings is a fleur-de-lis design set with a single marcasite. The drops are shaped in a narrow tapered shape which has an architectural feel. A single cultured pearl swings very gently from the bottom of the drop. Circa 1930s.

The pearl glue has turned yellowish with age. We normally reglue pearls but as these are very stable we've left them as is. Both earrings have scratch marks in the chrome plating at the back due to previously testing of these unmarked pieces.

Cultured pearls, approx 6.5 mm.

Not marked, tested as 800 - 900 silver, slightly below the modern standard of 925. These earrings are chrome plated to help prevent tarnish.

Measure 4.1 cm / 1.6 inches long.

These are screw back earrings for non-pierced ears.
