Beautiful ruby single stone ring. What a stunning ring! A large oval cut synthetic ruby is the most incredible red colour. I cannot overstate how incredible the colour of this stone is, a bright fire engine red, just such a happy colour. Graceful white gold triple claw prongs secure the corners of the gemstone and a pipe cut gold band is sleek and simple, keeping the focus on the ruby. Circa 1930s, British in origin.
In excellent condition. Synthetic or lab created stones have been created in a lab and shares the chemical properties of it's natural counterpart (meaning it tests as a ruby with a gem tester). Rubies were first created in the late Victorian era.
Ruby: oval cut, lab created, measuring approx 13.1 mm by 10.4 mm and calculated as 7.5 carats within the limits of the mounting.
Stamped 9ct, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold, the majority of the ring is yellowish rose gold and the claws are white gold.
Size: UK - Q; US - 8.25; EU - 18,3. This ring can be sized between L.5 / 6 / 16,5 and U / 10 / 19,7. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 13.1 mm by 10.5 mm at top and rises 7.2 mm tall off the finger, 2 mm wide band at back centre.
Weighs 4.2 grams.
