Vintage Order of the Eastern Star ring crafted in 10 carat white gold. Order of the Eastern Star is a Masonic body which is open to both men and women. I grew up admiring my grandmother's Eastern Star ring and get a thrill every time I find one! They are a States based organisation to to find them in my area is a real bonus. This ring has a five pointed star in the centre and each of the points is set with a triangular shape bezel set glass in green, red, blue, yellow or colourless. In the centre where the stars arms meet is a pentagon set with a single white sapphire. Between each of the points of the star is a small engraved section and the use of negative space on the top is delightful! This ring dates to approx the mid 20th century, North American in origin.
In very good condition with some wear to the engraved panels between the arms of the star, as shown in photos.
Marked 10K, professionally tested and assessed as 10 carat gold, which is white in colour.
Size: UK - M.5; US - 6.5; EU - 16,8. This ring can be sized between J / 5 / 15,6 and O.5 / 7.25 / 17,5. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 16.3 mm wide by 5.4 mm tall off the finger, 1.5 mm at back centre.
Weighs 3.1 grams.
