Vintage diamond engagement ring set with an old European cut diamond. The old cut diamond is set into an illusion style square shaped mount which flares around it, adding impact to its size. The old European cut diamond has a very even and flowery facet pattern with a high crown and small culet. This centre stone is set above shoulders which taper and are set with diamond graduating in size. The diamonds in the shoulders are single cut and are framed by a row of milgrain beading. This ring has a D shape profile ring which tapers toward the back centre. The centre stone dates to circa 1920s - 1930s and the mounting to the 1930s to 1940s.

Diamonds: centre old European cut measures approx 3.65 - 3.70 mm and is calculated as 0.20 carats, H / I colour, VS clarity . 6 single cut accent diamonds total 0.10 carats. Diamond details calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Stamped 14k. Professionally tested and assessed as 14 carat white gold.
