A lovely moonstone solitaire engagement ring in a simple crown style setting. This is a stunning and unique ring. A round cabochon cut moonstone looks as though it's glowing! The moonstone is set in an 18 carat white gold crown or rex style setting. On either side of the moonstone is a beautiful split shank design band. The split shank highlights the moonstone. The moonstone is a silvery white blue in colour, showing mostly blue. It appears to glow from within.
While listing I've been wearing this moonstone ring with a narrow platinum engraved wedding band and the set makes a wonderful and unique combination. This moonstone solitaire ring dates to around the early 20th century and is likely British in origin.
Moonstone: cabochon cut, measuring approx 9.2 - 9.3 mm wide.
Hallmarked Platinum. The moonstone is set in 18 carat white gold, tested, and the band is platinum, marked and tested.
Size: UK - O 1/4; US - 7 1/4; EU - 55 1/3. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures 10 mm wide and rises 7.06 mm tall off finger.
