Stunning tourmaline and diamond ring set in 18 carat gold. A beautiful spring green tourmaline is claw set in the centre of 10 single cut diamonds. The tourmaline is a long oval in shape, flatting the shape of the finger. Each of the diamonds is bead set into a white gold setting, the small beads on the outer edges giving the setting a wonderful floral shape. The band is 18 yellow gold, in a half round, or D shape, with a domed exterior and flat interior. Circa 1940s - 1950s, British in origin.

Tourmaline: spring green in colour, oval cut in shape. Measures approx 6.95 mm by 4.9 mm and is estimated in setting as 0.72 carats.

Diamonds: 10, approx 0.25 carats total diamond weight.

Marked 18ct Gold for 18 carat gold and tested as such.
