Traditional diamond engagement ring. This circa 1940s ring is beautiful, sleek in style and classic in design. An European cut diamond is set in a six claw prong setting. The diamond is bright and beautiful. On either side are two diamond set into a rectangle shape lined in milgrain beading. Below the diamonds is a ridged design which leads to a yellow gold shank. The band is nice and thick, showing little wear. This ring is simple and timeless in design, a great two-tone white and yellow gold engagement ring. Circa mid-1930s to 1940s, European in origin.
Diamonds: centre European cut, measures 3.85 mm and is estimated in setting as 0.22 carats, J / K colour, I1 clarity. 4 single cut side diamonds, estimated in setting as 0.04 carats together.
Total carat weight calculated as setting permits: 0.26.
Hallmarked as 18ct for 18 carat gold and tested as such.
