Vintage cubic zirconia engagement ring set in 9 carat gold. This clear stone is large and cut in the round brilliant style. It's held in a rex or crown style mounting on a slender yellow gold band. This would make a good proposal ring or dress ring. Circa 1990s.

One of the claws has worn down a bit to the level of the girdle. The other nine claws are in tact and keep this stone secure.

Stone: CZ as marked inside the band, measures approx 7.5 mm, roughly the size of a 1.6 carat diamond.

Hallmarked for 9 carat yellow gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1992.

Measures approx 7.6 mm wide by 6.6 mm deep at stone and 1.6 mm band.
