Vintage blue zircon single stone ring. A good sized round cut blue zircon is held in four sets of double claw prongs. The zircon is a lovely shade, a pretty blue between robin's egg and sea green to my eyes. Sloping down the cathedral style shoulders are leaf shapes, three on each side, and each set with a sparkly single cut diamond. These leaves are outlined in milgrain beading and topped in white to accent the diamonds. I've always liked rings with coloured gemstones in the centre with diamond accents, it's a classic look and you can never go wrong with a pop of colour! Circa mid 20th century.
In very good condition. There is some minor facet wear to the zircon which can be seen under magnification. This would make a great unique engagement ring.
