Vintage blue zircon and diamond three stone engagement ring. This setting is stunning! Three squares are set with a blue zircon and flanking single cut diamonds. The gemstones are set in triple claw prongs down inside the squares which are lined in pristine milgrain beading. Little engraved platinum topped beads adorn the sloping shoulders leading to a D profile band. The blue zircon is vivid, a bright teal blue colour. Zircon is one of the birthstones for December. Circa 1940s, British in origin.

Blue zircon: measures approx 5.4 mm and calculated in setting as 0.75 carats.

Diamonds: 2, single cut / eight cut, approx 0.06 carats together.

Stamped 18ct PLAT. This ring is tested and assessed as mostly 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.
