Fabulous cultured pearl and baguette cut diamond earrings. A large white cultured pearl is held in place in a pearl cup with a bar set baguette cut diamond to the top (or bottom, depending on how you wear them!). These are great! They can be worn either way around. They'd be perfect for a graduate, bride, or other special occasion. Diamond is the birthstone for April and pearl is the birthstone for June.
These earrings date to the mid 20th century. We think that they were originally for non-pierced earrings and were later converted to pierced studs. During the mid 20th century it was less common for women to have their ears pierced. There is no visible indication of this, it's been done well.
In good condition.
