Wonderful vintage 9 carat rose gold chain. Elongated links are evenly spaces with a set of five classic curb links between them. At one end is a large terminating jump ring and the other is a dog clip which swivels. The swivel is nice, allowing this chain to be worn with the clasp to the back or to the front with a pendant proudly displayed. This piece has been difficult for us to date. The rose gold is a proper red so it's likely mid to later 20th century, though it's crafted in a way that Victorians crafted chains and has an antique dog clip clasp so it might be earlier.

In very good condition, showing minor wear in keeping with age and use.

Stamped 9c to the dog clip and professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat throughout, which is rose in colour.

Measures approx 44.5 cm / 17.5 inches in length by 3.55 mm wide.

Weighs 6.9 grams. This chain is light weight, sheets of metal have been rounded to form the links making the centre of the links hallow. The dog clip end allows it to be very effective for wearing as a pendant chain.
