Vintage 9ct gold chain necklace. Superb bar links alternate with a set of flattened trace links. The flattened polished surfaces of all the links give this chain a nice sparkle as it catches the light. This chain secures with a spring bolt clasp. Circa mid to mid 20th century.

Stamped 9k on the clasp, which is probably a replacement. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout. The gold is older and as is often the case with British antique gold, is between yellow and rose gold. This particular chain is more yellow in our opinion.

Measures approx 44 cm / 17.25 inches in length by 1.9 mm wide at trace links and 1.5 mm at bar links.

Weighs 3.6 gram.
