Vintage bright 22 carat gold 1950s wedding ring. I love the colour of very high carat gold, it just looks so rich and bright in colour. This ring is court / comfort fit with a slightly domed top and a rounded interior for a more comfortable fit on the finger. Fully hallmarked for 22 carat gold, assayed in London in 1950 making this ring around 66 years old. This ring is a rosy colour common in 22 carat gold rings.
This ring comes in it's original brown tooled leather box. The box is decorated with four gold coloured flowers on the top edge and opens with a push button closure. The inside has an ivory coloured velvet ring slot and Bravington's logo with locations listed on the inside lid.
This ring was made by Bravingtons, a London based jeweller in business throughout the 1900s.
Hallmarked for 22 carat gold, assayed in London, date letter P for 1950.
