Vintage sapphire and diamond star design cluster ring crafted in 18 carat gold. A deep blue sapphire is claw set to the centre with four glittering diamonds set around it. Between each of the diamonds is a tapered, polished flat bar of white gold. This design gives the appearance of a star. The gemstones are set into a white top on a slender gold band which has a texture to the shoulder and is engraved with a single star on each side. Circa 1970s, British in origin.
In very good condition.
Sapphire: deep blue, round cut of approx 3 mm.
Diamonds: 4, single cut, approx 0.02 carats together.
Hallmarked for 18 carat gold, assayed in London 1973.
Size: UK - N; US - 6.75; EU - 17,1. This ring can be sized between I.5 / 4.5 / 15,3 and R / 8.75 / 18,7. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 9.85 mm wide by 6.4 mm deep, 1.9 mm wide at back centre.
