Vintage two-tone 9 carat gold engine turned cuff links. Aren't these just beautiful?! The oval shaped faced are formed of two colours of gold, bright rose gold to the outside with a white gold stripe to the centre. These cuff links are double faced, with both faces the same, and connected by a rose gold chain. Each side is adorned with an engine turned design, accented with shiny, polished stripes. There is a maker's mark for Alabaster & Wilson, a famous family jeweller who was in business for around a century. This particular example dates to the mid 1940s, British in origin.
Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham 1947. Maker's mark for Alabaster and Wilson, a company who was in business for approximately a century from the 1880s on.
Measure approx 18.2 mm / 0.72 inches by 11.3 mm / 0.45 inches.
Weigh 9 grams together. These have a nice weight to them.
