Stunning engraved wide wedding ring crafted in 18 carat yellow gold. Narrow rails of gold outline wider engraved gold bands which twist around each other. The design reminds me a bit of a strand of DNA. It's a lovely delicate pattern which makes great use of negative space. Circa 1950s with a maker's mark of WWLd.

Hallmarked for 18 carat gold, London 1953. The gold is yellow in colour.
