Victorian Natural Coral in Converted Long Brick Drop Earrings, 9ct Yellow Gold.

Coral brick dangle earrings in 9 carat yellow gold. My jeweller had a Victorian bracelet which was wildly cool but sadly beyond repair. He's taken the coral links and re-imagined them as Tetris style drop earrings. These long earrings are set with a single brick at the top, then down, three in the centre, and back down again in a tapered design. Using the holes which were drilled through the Victorian coral, our jeweller has rewired them with 9 carat gold wires so that they are articulated and swing gently next to the face. The coral are a lovely salmon pink in colour with streaks of white and lighter pink running through them. All the bricks have slightly variations in size, in keeping with their hand carved nature and age. Wire hooks at the top are simple and classic, completing the look. Circa mid 19th century coral, recycled gold, modern made earrings.
