A total staple piece, an antique 9ct gold long guard dating to the Victorian era! We all know these, have seen these, and adore them. Tactile and smooth, this style is easy to run through your fingers. Each of the oval shaped links is lightly faceted and leads flawlessly to the next. It's made to wear double or tripled around the neck for a wonderful layered look. Each end of this chain terminates at a swivelling dog clip which can be used to display a large pendant or locket. Circa late 19th century, around 1870s - 1890s, British in origin.
