Antique 9ct gold split ring with an engraved design dating to the Victorian era. This ring has a split, like a key ring, which pulls apart to allow charms to be added or jewellery to linked together. The split is about 33% of the way around and fastens very tightly with the ends tucking into the little notch. The scroll design is deep and crisp. Late Victorian, 19th century.

Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold.
