Antique five stone diamond ring. This boat shaped Victorian ring is set with graduated diamonds across the top. The diamonds are beautiful, bright and clean and are held in place with silver topped claws. From the side this ring has been engraved in a deep scroll design. The diamonds are tapered down to a yellow gold shank. This is a classic Victorian ring dating to the 1890s - 1900s, British in origin.
Diamonds: 5, 4 are old European cuts and 1 is an eight cut and is likely a replacement. Centre is approx 3.8 mm, 0.15 ct. Two diamonds total approx 0.19 carats, and the end diamonds total approx 0.08 carats.
Total carat weight of this ring as estimated in setting is 0.42, H colour, VS2 / SI1 clarity.
Marked 18ct and tested as 18 carat gold.
