Single stone synthetic sapphire engagement ring dating to the Art Deco era. A large royal blue lab-created sapphire is rectangular in shape. The wide shoulders are flared with a bevelled design that mimics the step cut of the sapphire. The blue is gorgeous, bright and lightly off the finger turning darker when it's worn on the finger. The D shape profile band is tapered near the fluted shoulders and widens slightly at the back. Circa 1930s - 1940s.

Sapphire: synthetic / lab-created, rectangular in shape, approx 9 mm by 6.65 mm. Good condition with minor age related wear, most notably to the corners.

Stamped 9ct, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold.

Size: UK - R; US - 8.5; EU - 18,6. This ring can be resized between N / 6.75 / 17,1 and T / 9.75 / 19,5. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 10 mm wide by 3.85 mm deep at gemstone, 2.3 mm band.
