Ruby and diamond full hoop ring with star design. This wide 9 carat yellow gold band features a double row of rubies and diamonds. The pairs of gemstones are set at angles to each other creating two rows of sparkling diamonds all the way around this ring. Each gem in this wide band is set in a little engraved star design. Circa 1980s.

Rubies: 10, round cut, approx 1.95 mm each.

Diamonds: 10, round cut, approx 1.8 mm each, approx 0.25 carats total weight.

Fully hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1984.
