Sparkling old cut diamond eternity ring. This is one of those rare ones! The diamonds are proper old single cuts with tables so high they appear to be rose cut diamonds at first glance. Tiny pairs of claws hold them between each diamond the channel design mounting hugs them keeping them secure while you see nothing but sparkle! The platinum sides are gently sloped toward the diamonds creating a subtle knife-edge design. Knife edges are super easy to wear and I find they wonderfully compliment the shape of modern engagement rings. The diamonds in this ring date to around the mid 19th century while using platinum in jewellery wasn't common until the Edwardian era, circa early 1900s. These diamonds have likely been reused from another piece making this a fabulous example of recycling!
In good condition. The diamonds have very steep crowns and a few have chips where the crowns and tables are exposed. This is normal and expected with the diamonds on the palm side always more susceptible to wear.
