A beautiful and simple antique diamond trilogy engagement ring. Three old mine cut diamonds are bezel or rub over set in platinum topped settings. The centre diamond is very slightly larger than the two outer diamonds. All of the diamonds display a slightly off-round or cushion shape and have steep crowns and large open culets. The diamonds are mounted on a slender 18 carat yellow gold band. Circa 1880s - 1910s, British in origin.

Diamonds: 3, old mine cut. Centre is approx 3.4 mm and calculated in setting as 0.20 carats. Sides are approx 3.3 mm each and calculated in setting as 0.16 carats & 0.19 carats. All I / J colour, SI clarity.
Total carat weight, calculated as setting permits is 0.55.

Hallmarked as 18ct Plat. This ring is mostly 18 carat yellow gold with a platinum top around the bezel set diamonds.

Size: UK - J 1/4; US - 4 7/8; EU - 15.6. This ring is not recommended for sizing smaller, it can be sized larger up to M / 6.25. Sizing available for an additional fee. The band is 1.6 mm by the diamonds, tapering to 1.1 mm at the centre back. It has plenty of wear left, however may require a partial reshank to size larger than M.

Measures approx 4 mm by 11.4 mm on the finger, and sits 4 mm tall on the finger.

Weighs 1.65 grams.
