Old European diamond solitaire pendant. This half carat (est) antique diamond is set into a low eight claw setting. The diamond has a small table, very high crown, and medium sized culet. It's a gorgeous diamond with a lovely, even facet pattern. This diamond pendant started life as another piece. We've kept it in it's claws and simply added a small bail to make it into a pendant. Circa early 20th century diamond, modern conversion.
Diamond: old European cut, approx 4.8 mm and calculated within the limits of the mounting as 0.50 carats, K colour, VS1 clarity.
Not stamped, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold.
Measures approx 5.5 mm across.
Weighs 0.47 grams.
