Beautiful 1930s platinum and old European cut diamond engagement ring. A vintage old cut diamond is set in triple claw fishtail style prongs. The claws are attached to a rim running right under the edges of the diamond which is slightly larger than the diamond. This setting style frames the diamond just a bit helping to protect the diamond. The effect is subtle and also serves to increase the appearance of a diamonds size. Set on either side of the keystone diamond are three smaller diamonds. The side diamonds curve around the finger meeting with the narrow platinum band. Circa 1930s.

Diamonds: centre old European cut diamond, measures 4.9 mm, estimated in setting as 0.45 carats, L colour, SI2 clarity. 6 side stones total approx 0.09 carats.

Marked Platinum and tested as such.

Size: UK - J 3/4; US - 5 1/4; EU - 15.7. This ring can be sized down to H.75 / 4.25 or up to P / 7.75. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures 5.14 mm wide and rises 5.38 mm tall off the finger.
