Niello and enamel clasps and charms. Fours bits and bobs! Two niello clasps, one horseshoe pendant, and an enamel matchstick charm grouped together for your jewellery arranging enjoyment. Since they are all smaller pieces I will not separate them and they are being sold as a lot of 4 pieces. These two oversized niello spring bolt clasps are wonderful, useful pieces! Who doesn't love practical jewellery? They aren't a match, a bit different in design but don't let that stop you adding them to the same chain - they really are close. I'd use them to display charms or make a chain just that bit longer. Both are in very good condition with strong springs and close as they should.

Thinner clasp is approx 19.3 mm exterior diameter, 13.9 mm interior diameter. Niello clasp is 2.7 mm wide by 2.8 mm deep. Professionally tested and assessed as 800 silver, and the black part is enamel. Weighs 1.8 grams.

Wider clasp is 19.45 mm exterior diameter, 13.7 mm interior diameter. Niello clasp is 2.90 mm wide by 3 mm deep. Professionally tested and assessed as 800 silver, and the black part is enamel. There is a silver gilt accent around where the clasp moves to fasten and this is the main difference between the two clasps. Weighs 2.3 grams.

The horseshoe is white metal (not silver) and enamel. Dating from the same era as the clasps, circa early 20h century. Measures approx 29 mm / 1.15 inches tall including attached ring by not including the bail, by 20.6 mm / 0.80 inches wide. Weighs 2.7 grams.

The matchstick is a lovely piece! I don't usually see them with blue tips. Crafted in 800 silver with a light blue enamel end, it's marked 800 on the bail and tested as silver. Measures approx 31.5 mm / 1.25 inches tall not including the bail by 2.45 mm at tip and 1.65 mm at stick. Weighs 1 gram.
