Modernist sterling silver cube and oval link necklace. This necklace features alternating links designed as cubes and long oval shaped open links. The design is continuous around the length of this necklace. A large spring bolt style clasp secures this piece. Circa 1960s. Attributed to Arne Johansen, a Danish silversmith.

Hallmarked for sterling silver, import marks for the UK, appear to date to 1965. There are also partially illegible marks.

Measures approx 68.5 cm / 27 inches end to end and the cubes are 6 mm.

Weighs approx 85 grams.
