Absolutely huge vintage citrine cocktail ring! This ring is incredible, truly wonderful! A very large yellow citrine is emerald cut, a rectangular shape with step cut facets. Wide ribbon claws hold each corner tightly. Keeping with the ribbon theme, wide ribbons of gold frame the citrine, running down it's sides, and are engraved with bold flowers. Coming from under that, arching down the shoulders is a coordinating design which tapers as it reaches the band. Circa mid century, approx 1940s, British in origin.
In great condition!
Citrine: a golden yellow rectangular step cut measuring approx 19.2 mm by 16.1 mm by 10.8 mm deep. Calculated as 22.4 carats within the limits of the mounting.
Stamped 9ct, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout. The gold is yellow in colour.
Size: UK - L.5; US - 6; EU - 16,5. This ring can be sized between K / 5.25 / 15,8 and O / 7.25 / 17,5. Due to width across finger sizing is limited. Because this ring is top heavy, it can be prone to spinning on the finger. For this reason I'd typically wear a smaller size than I would in a band style or lower profile ring. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 19.6 mm north to south on the finger by 26.1 mm west to east on the finger. Rises 12.2 mm tall off the finger, 2.5 mm band.
Weighs 12 grams.
