Sweet heart shaped diamond engagement ring. A single love heart shaped top is set with a single early round brilliant cut diamond. The diamond is set into the heart with an engraved design carved into the top of the setting to give the impression that the diamond takes up entire heart shape. Around the top of the heart is a very delicate, fine milgrain beading. The shoulders are topped in platinum and slope away from the top to an 18 carat yellow gold band. Circa late 1930s - 1940s.

Diamond: early round brilliant cut, approx 4.35 mm, 0.30 carats, K / L colour, SI2 clarity.

Not marked, tested as 18 carat yellow gold with the diamond set into a platinum top.

Size: UK - N; US - 6 3/4; EU - 17.2. This ring can be size between J / 4.75 and O.5 / 7.25. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures 6.8 mm wide and rises 4.25 mm tall off the finger.
