Vintage green tourmaline ring with diamond halo. A lovely deep green oval cut tourmaline is set in a bezel and framed by a delicate halo of diamonds. The darker green and sparkling diamond make the perfect companion in this unique ring. Sloping shoulders feature faceted beading and lead to a gold shank. This is an incredible ring, large and bold, and would make an equally wonderful engagement ring or occasion ring. Tourmaline is the birthstone for the month of October. Circa mid 20th century.
Tourmaline: oval shape, brilliant cut, approx 10.7 mm by 8.7 mm and calculated as 3.20 carats within the limits of the mounting.
Diamonds: 10, approx 1.5 - 1.6 mm each and calculated as 0.15 carats together within the limits of the mounting.
Stamped 18ct, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold.
Size: UK - L.5; US - 6; EU - 16,5. This ring can be sized between I / 4.5 / 15,2 and R.5 / 9 / 19. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 16.3 mm by 13.8 mm on the finger by 7 mm deep. 2.5 mm band.
